Christian Dior FP&A Assistant Manager

- Proactively manage P&L lines by monitoring yearly and monthly targets, conducting variance analysis, and providing regular reports to ensure budget adherence and timely identification of risks and opportunities.
- Support key business initiatives, including the development and execution of network plans and other strategic initiatives, by collaborating with stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of assigned P&L and balance sheet lines, including deep dives into transactional details to ensure accuracy and understanding of financial results.
- Manage expense accruals and perform variance analysis against budgeted results, working closely with the accounting team to ensure a holistic financial approach.
- Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of budgeting and financial forecasting tools to improve planning accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports for local management and Head Office in Paris, delivering timely and actionable insights.
- Support the Financial Controller and management team with ad-hoc analyses for current business activities and upcoming projects.
- At least 9 years of finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years in an FP&A position.
- Proven track record in partnering with internal stakeholders and strong communication skills.
- Ability to adapt rules to fit needed insights and conclusions.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and reporting systems.
- Sound finance and accounting knowledge.
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive, accurate, and fast-paced environment.
- Initiative and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Good English skills in both writing and speaking.
Minimum of 5 years in finance, preferably within the retail industry.
