Christian Dior Fabric Developer

- Manage one or more fabric categories such as Jersey, Tailoring, Shirts, and Sportswear under the supervision of the Sourcing & Development Manager.
- Serve as the primary contact for suppliers and agents regarding material research, follow-ups, and development tracking.
- Classify, archive, and monitor received material research by season, category, and type.
- Collect and verify technical information, pricing, available stock, and necessary certifications for material purchases and production.
- Contribute to the development of fabrics and prints in collaboration with CAD and the studio.
- Participate in updating fabric boards and sample racks for the Studio and Development teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Material Purchasing team to provide necessary technical and supplier information for system integration and order processing.
- Work directly with the Material Stock team to verify fabric conformity upon arrival before studio availability.
- Update fabric sample racks and the fabric space through sorting and archiving.
- Higher education in textiles, fashion, or engineering (e.g., ITECH, ENSAIT, IFM).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fabric development or sourcing, preferably in a high-end or luxury environment.
- Strong knowledge of fabric families (wool, cotton, silk, technical materials) and textile suppliers.
- Proficiency in PLM tools, Excel, and Outlook with a keen eye for data tracking.
- Professional proficiency in English; Italian is advantageous.
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Team spirit, curiosity, product sensitivity, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proactive in managing priorities and coordinating across teams.

Higher education in textiles, fashion, or engineering (e.g., ITECH, ENSAIT, IFM).
