Christian Dior Europe Sales Planning Manager

- Lead the 'Best Estimate' sales forecasting process by season, category, and month in close collaboration with merchandising and financial control teams.
- Act as the primary liaison with Central Business Planning teams to ensure alignment of objectives.
- Facilitate the monthly collaborative sales forecasting process, integrating market data, emerging trends, and field insights.
- Provide analyses and recommendations to optimize assortments and new product launches in Europe, considering the specificities of each category.
- Collaborate closely with Distribution teams to ensure optimal stock management and product availability in line with demand.
- Identify risks and opportunities related to sales forecasts and propose action plans to enhance performance.
- Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of sales planning and business planning processes, leveraging existing best practices.
- Oversee, train, and develop a team of four individuals.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in demand planning and sales planning within the retail sector.
- Proven experience in team management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VBA/macros) and familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Familiarity with forecasting platforms such as Anaplan.
- Strong quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to translate data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with effective communication abilities.
- Aptitude for stakeholder management and cross-functional influence.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a pragmatic and results-driven approach.
- Fluency in English.
Minimum 10 years of experience in demand and sales planning, particularly within the retail sector.
