Christian Dior Deputy Department Manager — Men's Ready-to-Wear

- Lead by example on the sales floor: coach, mentor and train the team to elevate service, selling techniques and clienteling.
- Support the Department Manager in achieving commercial targets and implementing local client development strategies, including VIP and Elite client programmes.
- Drive cross-selling across product universes and build long-term client relationships to maximise repeat business and lifetime value.
- Oversee daily store operations: organise and delegate team tasks, manage stock ordering and control, and take measures to minimise shrinkage and operating expenses.
- Support recruitment, performance evaluation, motivation and talent development within the team; act as a people developer and succession-builder.
- Ensure operational compliance with company administration systems, cash/credit and exchange procedures, and handle customer complaints effectively.
- Maintain the highest standards of visual merchandising, housekeeping and boutique presentation; represent the Maison at client and brand events when required.
- Minimum five years' experience in luxury fashion retail, including prior experience at Assistant/Deputy Manager level.
- Demonstrable expertise in Men's ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, develop and retain a seasoned sales team.
- Track record of client acquisition and long-term relationship development with VIP clientele.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities; fluency in a second language preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen and familiarity with stock management, cash handling and loss-prevention procedures.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in retail/management preferred.
