Christian Dior Assistant Merchandising Manager

- Develop and implement merchandising strategies for the South Asia zone.
- Define product assortment for Women Small and Exotics leather goods.
- Review seasonal open-to-buy in collaboration with the Business Planning Team.
- Attend seasonal buying sessions in Paris to ensure optimal merchandise selection and quantity.
- Drive business performance to meet sales and sell-through objectives.
- Conduct market analysis and gather competitive intelligence.
- Act as a communication liaison between HQ Business Units, regional functions, and local teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Supply Chain for stock optimization.
- Support local merchandisers in executing product strategies.
- Collaborate with Regional Training to develop product and sales knowledge programs.
- Work with Regional Visual Merchandising on product launches and boutique remerchandising.
- Define local pricing in alignment with HQ and zone strategies.
- Manage the distribution network for Permanent and Carry-over products.
- Oversee the management of the zone’s trunk samples.
- Collaborate with the Women’s merchandising team on cross-functional tasks.
- Conduct store visits to gather product feedback.
- Lead special projects such as Couture Maroquinerie and Dior Lady Art, collaborating with Client Marketing Teams and acting as a product liaison.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in merchandising within the luxury goods and services industry.
- Experience in both regional and local merchandising functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Agility and open-mindedness in dealing with ambiguity.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commercial sense.
Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably within the luxury sector.
