Christian Dior Artworks and Preventive Conservation Assistant Intern

- Assist in managing internal and external artwork movements, including handling requests from studios, haute couture salons, and celebrities for various events.
- Participate in organizing logistics and administration for exhibitions and institutional loans, both on-site and off-site.
- Contribute to the management of artwork loans for photo shoots, including preparing lists, condition reports, and appropriate packaging for transportation.
- Support the operational chain for collection entries, including textiles and accessories, and assist in condition reporting and artwork management for conservation campaigns.
- Aid in the preparation and execution of exhibitions, including planning, setup, and dismantling at La Galerie Dior.
- Maintain and update the SkinSoft database with artwork movements, locations, and integrate condition reports and restoration documentation.
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Artworks Management and/or Preventive Conservation or a related field.
- Previous experience with textile collections is advantageous.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of logistics related to artworks and exhibitions.
- Proficiency in managing the material and administrative aspects of artwork movements.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Methodical, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
- Autonomous with a strong sense of initiative.
- Adaptability and responsiveness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with database management software.
Entry-level position suitable for individuals beginning their career in artworks management and conservation.
Master's degree in Artworks Management and/or Preventive Conservation or related field.
