Christian Dior Artworks and Preventive Conservation Assistant Intern

- Assist in managing the internal and external movement of artworks, including handling requests from the studio, haute couture salons, and celebrities for various events.
- Participate in organizing logistics and administration for exhibitions and institutional loans.
- Contribute to the management of loans for photo shoots, including preparation of artwork lists, condition reports, and appropriate packaging for transportation.
- Support the operational chain for new collection entries, including textiles and accessories, and assist in conducting condition reports.
- Aid in the preparation and execution of exhibition plans, including timelines, calendars, and the setup and dismantling of exhibitions at La Galerie Dior.
- Maintain and update the SkinSoft database with artwork movements, locations, and integrate condition reports, restoration documents, and expert evaluations.
- Currently enrolled in a Master II program in Artworks Management and/or Preventive Conservation or MC Maintenance of Heritage Collections.
- Previous experience with textile collections is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of logistics related to artworks and exhibitions.
- Proficiency in managing the material and administrative aspects of artwork movement.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Methodical, organized, and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Autonomous with a proactive approach and adaptability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with database management software.
Beginner level experience is acceptable, with a preference for candidates who have some exposure to textile collections.
Master II in Artworks Management and/or Preventive Conservation or related field.
