- Lead the toolmaking department with 10 employees and the maintenance team for machinery and buildings with up to 7 employees, both technically and disciplinarily.
- Prepare cost calculations for tools and fixtures, providing technical advice and support to production departments such as goldsmithing, CNC manufacturing, and polishing.
- Ensure timely repair of all facility and machine technology, documenting each repair task.
- Plan, organize, and supervise maintenance work across facilities for both building and machine technology.
- Analyze and continuously improve tools and processes.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for new technologies in toolmaking and jewelry production.
- Possess knowledge of additive 3D printing manufacturing processes in fixture construction.
- Completed vocational training as a precision mechanic/toolmaker in stamping and forming technology with relevant professional experience and further training as a master craftsman or technician.
- Several years of professional and leadership experience, preferably in a toolmaking environment, ideally in the production of tools for jewelry and watchmaking.
- Excellent German language skills and good English language skills.
- Organizational talent and methodological competence (e.g., lean management, problem-solving tools).
