- Define, analyze, and monitor product costs from development to production phases.
- Verify production times and collaborate with the technical team to improve product cost efficiency.
- Assess leather consumption and provide feedback for cost improvement.
- Evaluate the cost of metal hardware to ensure alignment with company markup goals.
- Utilize SAP for cost insertion, analysis, and monitoring across collections.
- Collaborate with the Category Management Team and other departments for margin analysis and final calculations.
- Work with Demand Planning during the launch phase.
- Partner with Time & Methods Specialists to analyze production phases and compare estimations.
- Conduct consumption analysis to enhance product cost and reduce stock.
- Create management reports to monitor collection margins.
- Facilitate continuous markup improvement through regular meetings with purchasing, production, and façon functions.
- Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in the leather goods industry as a Costing, Time & Methods, or Production Planning Specialist.
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel, including Pivot tables.
- Strong knowledge of leather production phases.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical teams and manufacturers.
- Negotiation skills.
5+ years of experience in the leather goods industry, focusing on costing, time & methods, or production planning.
Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, or related fields.
