- Lead the monthly sales forecasting process in collaboration with merchandising, business planning, and market teams.
- Analyze discrepancies between forecasts and actual sales to enhance forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with business planning to project medium-term sales and identify potential variances.
- Based on sales forecasts, project inventory levels and initiate necessary production to maintain target stock levels.
- Develop a needs plan post-showrooms for new product purchases, considering drop dates, regional lead times, and setup rates.
- Manage two supply planners to ensure timely distribution of new collections from manufacturers to stores.
- Define and confirm setup quantities in collaboration with merchandising teams prior to launches.
- Act as a liaison between production and markets, participating actively in weekly Time to Market meetings and keeping markets informed of potential delays.
- Oversee and adjust daily distribution to regions, updating Anaplan settings for allocation prioritization and lead times, while guiding regional supply planners for optimal performance.
- Manage shortages through central arbitration in coordination with merchandising, production, and commercial departments, simulating launch scenarios.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the autoreplenishment system for permanent products.
- Control and adjust target stock levels based on sales trends, anticipating seasonal peaks.
- Guarantee accurate DRP (Anaplan) settings for effective distribution across all channels (retail, wholesale, digital).
- 5 to 8 years of experience in supply chain, specifically in sales forecasting and supply/distribution management.
- Strong customer service orientation
