Cheval Blanc Specialized Maintenance Technician

- Ensure all guest rooms and designated areas are maintained to the highest quality standards under the guidance of the Chief Maintenance Officer.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, carpentry, painting, and plumbing tasks, including pool and pond maintenance.
- Assist other maintenance personnel and external contractors as required by the maintenance management.
- Respond courteously to guest inquiries, complaints, or requests.
- Identify and rectify HVAC malfunctions in guest rooms and adjust HVAC units and controls.
- Conduct systematic checks on all electrical appliances and circuits in guest rooms and perform necessary repairs.
- Manage repairs and replacements of internal civil works, including bathroom marble tiles, painting, carpentry, and grouting.
- Utilize various hand and power tools effectively.
- Complete the Hotel Pitrizza Handyman preventive maintenance checklist and other maintenance records.
- Maintain tools, workspaces, and equipment in good condition.
- Perform electrical repair/maintenance tasks as needed, such as replacing faulty outlets and broken light bulbs.
- Undertake tasks outside the scope of the position as required by the direct supervisor and/or Maintenance Director.
- Adhere to food safety management system requirements and actively participate in environmental protection efforts, including reducing consumption and recycling.
- Technical high school diploma or equivalent training.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel or similar sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English (verbal, written, reading, and listening); additional languages are preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive, reliable, and flexible.
- Friendly, polite, and open-minded.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance roles within luxury hospitality or a similar field.
Technical high school diploma or equivalent training.
