- Foster excellent relationships with clients, F&B department, suppliers, media, and influential figures.
- Act as an ambassador for the Maison, upholding its values and image.
- Ensure effective communication across all hierarchical levels.
- Assume responsibilities as defined in the assignment sheet.
- Manage and supervise the team of Associates.
- Achieve set objectives for the outlet.
- Monitor consumption and needs of the outlet proactively.
- Oversee delivery quality and quantity.
- Prepare orders for the outlet.
- Control merchandise costs and maintain reasonable stock levels.
- Develop monthly activity reports.
- Define incentives based on objectives.
- Regularly update objectives according to outlet activity.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Train, inform, and supervise Associates under responsibility.
- Delegate responsibilities and provide clear instructions to Chef de Partie.
- Set an example and unify Associates and the team.
- Ensure team behavior and hygiene standards.
- Oversee execution of each activity.
- Create a motivating and cohesive atmosphere.
- Maintain positive working relationships.
- Support Executive Chef in recruitment and selection of Associates.
- Act as coach and consultant.
- Validate attendance sheets.
- Publish team schedules three weeks in advance.
- Ensure adherence to schedules.
- Oversee hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
- Verify quality of raw materials and products used.
- Ensure accurate application of technical sheets and SOPs.
- Maintain culinary quality standards.
- Oversee quality of each dish.
- Participate in production.
- Ensure kitchen safety and cleanliness.
- Collaborate closely with Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
- Work with head sommelier.
- Release technical and cost sheets for the outlet.
- Ensure upward and downward information flow.
- Participate in weekly departmental meetings and daily briefings.
- Attend F&B meetings as required.
- Manage and maintain equipment.
- Oversee stock management.
- Control request forms for exits.
- Verify cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, especially at closing.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong leadership and team management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and detail-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure
- High standards of hygiene and safety
- Strong organizational skills
A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment is required.
