- Ensure optimal conditions of the restaurant at all times.
- Oversee reservations prior to service.
- Welcome, guide, and seat guests in the restaurant.
- Monitor the cloakroom operations.
- Ensure smooth service operations from guest arrival to departure, adhering to hotel procedures.
- Present the menu and beverages, taking orders while advising guests.
- Guarantee guest satisfaction throughout the service.
- Handle billing in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Develop a commercial attitude to enhance performance indicators and promote hotel services.
- Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and pastry departments.
- Lead briefings in the absence of senior management and assess team knowledge.
- Assist the Assistant Point of Sale Manager and verify schedule adherence.
- Participate in recruiting new team members and conducting development interviews.
- Train, coordinate, and organize the team’s work.
- Manage and raise awareness about operational cost management.
- Participate in inventory management.
- Manage linen handling (setup, renewal, supply).
- Oversee cellar management.
- Facilitate internal communication and information flow.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Ensure effective communication of client-related information to all teams.
- BAC PRO or BTS in relevant field
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards
- Experience in luxury hospitality or starred gastronomic restaurants
- Excellent interpersonal and representation skills
- Strong customer service and hospitality acumen
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Empathy and proactive problem-solving
- Team spirit
- Willingness to learn and advance in hospitality/restaurant industry
- Proficiency in dining room service in high-end establishments
- Strong sales and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Micros, and La Fourchette
- Fluency in English and Japanese (written and spoken)
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within luxury hospitality or fine dining establishments.
