- Ensure adherence to established behavioral standards and facility rules, including fire regulations and departmental procedures and policies.
- Arrive punctually for shifts in provided uniform, maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
- Distribute master keys to staff and complete necessary documentation.
- Participate in morning briefings and manage linen orders.
- Inspect all vacant and occupied rooms to ensure cleanliness standards and guest supply adequacy.
- Identify and address any issues reported by housekeeping staff, ensuring necessary actions are taken.
- Communicate operational updates and changes to housekeeping staff.
- Ensure departing rooms are promptly inspected and released for reassignment.
- Thoroughly inspect all hotel rooms to ensure special requests and services are fulfilled.
- Conduct random checks on housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to cleaning procedures.
- Report DND and Pick Up rooms to the Coordinator.
- Respond to guest requests promptly and efficiently.
- Supervise special projects, including mattress turning, renovations, and general hotel cleaning.
- Provide on-the-job training and identify training needs.
- Evaluate housekeeping staff performance as required.
- Monitor maintenance status daily, create work orders for repairs, and ensure timely service follow-up.
- Ensure proper ordering of materials and assist with general inventories.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor pantries, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Read daily logs and note special requests or messages in maintenance logs for daily event tracking.
- Inform the coordinator of any unusual events promptly.
- Assist in guest evacuation during fire emergencies.
- Ensure all equipment is in good condition and operational.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in handling guest requests and resolving issues promptly.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
