- Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking dishes to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
- Perform preliminary food preparation tasks, including peeling, cutting, and washing ingredients.
- Participate in the creation of dishes, adhering to culinary instructions and techniques.
- Ensure dishes are presented neatly and in accordance with serving instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in compliance with HACCP standards.
- Assist in sorting and disposing of waste according to company procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Commis Chef.
- Proficiency in basic cooking techniques such as grilling, frying, sautéing, and baking.
- Ability to monitor cooking times and temperatures for optimal food preparation.
- Skill in plating dishes to meet established presentation standards.
- Attention to detail to ensure the visual appeal of dishes.
- Capability to maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a high-end culinary environment is required.
