- Welcome guests to the Italian Restaurant Langosteria in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Ensure optimal guest satisfaction throughout the service.
- Handle billing and payment processes with the approval of the hierarchical superior.
- Promote the restaurant and culinary events within the hotel and across Cheval Blanc properties.
- Set up, maintain, and oversee the designated area of the restaurant.
- Advise guests to ensure complete satisfaction and contribute to revenue optimization.
- Take orders, communicate them, and serve food and beverages following hotel protocols.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Present bills and process payments according to hotel procedures.
- Promote various services and products available within the hotel and Cheval Blanc properties.
- Perform cleaning tasks as per hotel standards.
- Supervise assigned staff.
- Participate in inventory management.
- Manage linen supply and replenishment.
- Facilitate internal communication and ensure information flow within the service.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Report any unusual situations concerning safety or potential accidents to the management.
- BEP/CAP in Culinary Arts or BACPRO in Hospitality.
- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards.
- Familiarity with luxury hotel or fine dining environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and representational skills.
- Strong customer service orientation, courtesy, and tact.
- Availability, flexibility, and adaptability.
- Precision, organization, and rigor.
- Empathy and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Team spirit and collaboration.
- Desire to learn and advance in the hospitality industry.
- Significant experience in a similar high-standard establishment.
- Sales and communication proficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Micros, and La Fourchette.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in a third language is an advantage (Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Portuguese).
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar high-standard establishment is required.
BEP/CAP in Culinary Arts or BACPRO in Hospitality.
