- Ensure guests have a positive first and last impression by maintaining professionalism in appearance and demeanor.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the Food & Beverage offerings, including special experiences, resort facilities, and activities, as well as Bar standards and quality.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the menu, beverages, and wine offerings, and demonstrate proficiency in upselling and wine sales.
- Utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance revenue and provide comprehensive assistance to guests regarding general inquiries and special orders.
- Promptly and professionally handle and resolve guest requests, inquiries, and complaints.
- Maintain excellent guest relations, actively contributing to guest loyalty and satisfaction.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the menu and dishes to accurately respond to inquiries.
- Exhibit skill in presentation techniques, adhering to LQA quality standards.
- Actively promote the department and maintain standards in alignment with Hotel Pitrizza.
- Efficiently manage a designated station, ensuring a smooth service flow.
- Supervise and support Commis staff.
- Understand the management of all payment methods.
- Advise guests on available cocktails, liquors, and beverages, guiding them to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle complaints professionally and report to the Head Barman.
- Prepare classic, reimagined cocktails and other beverages upon guest request, following hotel recipes and procedures.
- Serve beverages impeccably, paying attention to presentation and correct temperature.
- Prepare, set up, and check the work area to ensure it is clean, tidy, and efficient.
- Manage bar supplies and stock, placing necessary orders and checking expiration dates.
- Conduct periodic inventory of merchandise.
- Complete billing procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all money management and payment procedures.
- Comply with internal guidelines and policies.
- Actively participate in all team events.
- Engage in job-related training.
- Highlight any disciplinary issues.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of beverages, including cocktails and wines.
- Proficiency in upselling and suggestive selling techniques.
- Ability to manage guest relations effectively.
- Competence in handling complaints and resolving issues.
- Attention to detail in service and presentation.
- Ability to supervise and support junior staff.
