Chaumet Supply & Logistics Specialist

- Oversee the entire shipment process from pick-up to delivery, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Track shipments and update status in databases, troubleshooting and resolving supply chain issues.
- Develop distribution plans and coordinate with stakeholders for timely and cost-effective replenishment.
- Review existing supply and logistics processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.
- Analyse logistics performance metrics and propose data-driven solutions.
- Evaluate and select transportation vendors and carriers based on performance, cost, and reliability.
- Collect, interpret, and analyze logistics data to prepare reports and communicate findings to management.
- Optimize supply chain transportation routes and negotiate better rates with suppliers.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring seamless coordination across the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and mitigate potential risks in logistics operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in logistics management, analysis, or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical analysis and data visualization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of shipping and distribution channels, inventory management principles, and transportation regulations.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software is preferred.
