Chaumet Logistics Specialist

- Oversee the entire shipment process from pick-up to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Track shipments and update status in databases, troubleshooting and resolving supply chain issues such as shortages, delays, and damages.
- Develop distribution plans and coordinate with stakeholders for timely and cost-effective replenishment.
- Review and improve existing supply and logistics processes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Analyze logistics performance metrics and propose data-driven solutions.
- Evaluate and select transportation vendors and carriers based on performance, cost, and reliability.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to management.
- Optimize supply chain transportation routes and negotiate better rates with suppliers.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, internal departments, and transportation providers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within supply chain operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of progressive work experience in a logistics role.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical analysis and data visualization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access) and PowerBI.
- Knowledge of shipping and distribution channels, inventory management principles, and transportation regulations.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software is preferred.
Minimum of 4 years in a logistics role, demonstrating progressive responsibility and expertise.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
