Chaumet Jewelry Supply Chain Project Manager

- Manage the supply of finished products in a multi-supplier context, adhering to purchasing policies and supplier strategies.
- Oversee order tracking from ERP entry to ex-factory shipment and central warehouse stock entry, including delivery timelines and anomaly management.
- Coordinate with development, planning, operational marketing, stones, and data teams to ensure a delivery plan that meets expectations.
- Identify critical production phases or components, and develop action plans in collaboration with suppliers, technical, and quality departments.
- For critical references, manage prioritization projects in conjunction with planning.
- Serve as the primary contact for logistics and distribution planning teams to provide visibility on product shipments and central warehouse availability.
- Contribute to supplier strategy definition, including capacity needs and volume allocation, with multi-sourcing, methods, quality, and development departments.
- Define and monitor supplier performance objectives through monthly KPIs.
- Support suppliers in adopting tools, processes, or transformation projects.
- Challenge suppliers on production plans and ensure continuous optimization of supply timelines, costs, and batch sizes.
- Participate in risk analyses for new product launches and manage allocation decisions.
- Lead action plans for supply and production risks, setting delivery and performance objectives for each project and supplier.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance global supply chain performance indicators.
- Proactively identify optimizations, develop tools, and establish routines to ensure reliable supply plans.
- Lead or participate in various transformation projects, including new tools, systems, and production models.
- Occasionally lead projects such as CSR audits and supplier compliance initiatives.
- Degree from an engineering school or equivalent university education.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in supply chain management, procurement, or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ERP SAP.
- Knowledge of VBA, Anaplan, and Power BI is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years in supply chain management, supplier relations, procurement, or manufacturing is required.
Degree in engineering or an equivalent university qualification.
