Chaumet Head of Finance Europe

- Lead the financial control and budgeting phases for six European entities.
- Analyze financial performance and variances to provide strategic recommendations.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators.
- Prepare and manage investment requests (CAPEX).
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, proposing corrective actions to enhance profitability.
- Present budget analyses to the Finance Director.
- Oversee monthly and budgetary financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
- Consolidate European financial data and coordinate with local accounting partners.
- Manage all financial reporting, including tax, treasury, and audit fees.
- Serve as the primary liaison for auditors concerning relevant subsidiaries.
- Support operational teams in retail, wholesale, and other departments on financial matters.
- Assist the General Manager with financial conditions of leases and investment requests.
- Act as a key contact for the Finance HQ team.
- Develop dashboards with operational teams to track actual costs against budgets.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures across European boutiques and departments.
- Conduct monthly controls such as T&E, deposits, and credit notes.
- Manage supplier payments through systems like Sapphire and Adyen.
- Supervise and lead a team of two, including coordination with accounting firms in each country.
- Standardize procedures and working methods across the team.
- Master's degree in finance, management control, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of significant experience in management control and/or international finance.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Proficiency in management and reporting tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with SAP, PowerBI, and CEGID is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate remote teams.
- Experience in team management and strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English is essential.
Minimum of 10 years in management control and/or international finance.
Master's degree in finance, management control, or equivalent.
