Chaumet CAD Designer - Watchmaking

Chaumet Horlogerie SA, located in Nyon, Switzerland, is an industrial entity dedicated to the development, procurement, production, and logistical management of all watches sold under the Chaumet brand. It oversees a network of component suppliers and assembly subcontractors.
- Model various watch components using CREO software.
- Ensure adherence to technical and aesthetic specifications.
- Facilitate 3D and plan review sessions.
- Collaborate with different departments to create manufacturing and control plans.
- Maintain the reliability and tracking of plan documentation.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding technical information for casing and movement.
- Propose new developments for casing and movement.
- Validate plan documentation returned from suppliers.
- Monitor prototype assembly phases for analysis and reporting.
- Seek solutions to achieve objectives.
- Participate in the validation of watch design.
- Define quality requirements with suppliers.
- Conduct homologation tests in collaboration with laboratories.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in watch casing construction.
- Proficiency in CREO software for at least 3 years.
- Familiarity with ISO and GPS dimensioning standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Meticulous in drafting and preparing definition and manufacturing files.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project-based structure.
- Comfortable with various manufacturing processes.
- Open-minded, flexible, and proactive.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Proficiency in English.
A minimum of 3 years in watch casing construction is required.
Opportunity to work in a human-sized entity of 25 people.
