Chaumet Archives and Digital Project Coordinator
Chaumet is a Parisian high-jewellery Maison, part of the LVMH group, renowned for its artisanal savoir‑faire and creative direction centred on heritage and nature. Located on Place Vendôme, the Maison combines historic craftsmanship with contemporary sensibilities and places importance on transmission, archival preservation and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Coordinate the evolution and acquisition of heritage database and collection management solutions, including requirements mapping, drafting consultation documents, analysing vendor proposals and demonstrations, and supporting final selection and change management.
- Lead a targeted oral‑history collection project focused on Chaumet’s development in the 1970s–1990s: identify and brief interview subjects, prepare biographical dossiers and interview guides, coordinate recording service providers, participate in interviews and ensure deliverable quality.
- Develop and implement post‑processing workflows using artificial intelligence for transcription, indexing and analysis of recorded interviews and other oral‑history assets.
- Manage the processing of historical archives: intellectual and physical reclassification, authoring research instruments to ISAD‑G standard, importing finding aids into Ligeo, and supervising external vendors conducting archival treatment.
- Support contemporary records acquisition and records management improvements: draft archival procedures and retention tables, provide training to internal teams, and oversee deposits and registration into Ligeo.
- Supervise digitisation and indexing projects for photographic and stock fiche collections, including benchmarking technical solutions, writing specifications and coordinating indexation vendors.
- Propose and implement initiatives with the Club 55 to collect and valorise the memory of senior employees, and produce internal communications to promote heritage resources.
- Master’s level education (Bac+5) in archival science, documentation, library studies or equivalent university degree.
- Strong interest in digital technologies applied to archives and collections management.
- Familiarity with archival standards and techniques (notably ISAD‑G).
- Proven organisational rigour, attention to detail and ability to coordinate external providers.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; capacity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent English (explicit requirement).
- Prior experience or internships in archives, digitisation or heritage projects is a plus.

Open to early‑career candidates; previous internships or first professional experience in archives, documentation or heritage projects is advantageous but not required.
Master’s degree (Bac+5) in archival science, documentation, library and information science or equivalent.
