Chanel Translation Project Coordination Assistant

As part of the Communication and Customer Experience Directorate, Chanel offers a dynamic and innovative work environment.
- Assist the Translation Project Coordinator in managing translation projects from the initial brief to the delivery of translation assets for all Fragrance and Beauty marketing, press, and communication texts.
- Participate in internal project briefings, analyze needs, and assist in formulating recommendations.
- Monitor and challenge project timelines as necessary.
- Proofread and correct French source texts for grammar, spelling, syntax, and meaning.
- Ensure semantic and stylistic consistency across all campaign materials.
- Oversee the translation project lifecycle, ensuring objectives are met within deadlines.
- Brief translators, document source texts, and anticipate translation specifics for cultural adaptation.
- Communicate with regional offices (Asia, Japan, Europe, UK, US) and provide translation management recommendations.
- Review, challenge, and validate translations to ensure message fidelity and coherence.
- Manage translation budget and provide regular reporting.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, communication, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Dynamic, reactive, methodical, and organized.
- Proven team player with a strong sense of commitment.
- Proficiency in English.
- Sensitivity to the luxury sector.
Experience in project coordination or a related field is preferred.
Bachelor's degree or higher in business, communication, or a related field.
