Chanel Translation Coordination Assistant

- Assist the project manager in coordinating translation projects from initial brief to delivery of translation assets for all Parfums Beauté marketing, press, and communication texts.
- Participate in internal project presentation briefs, analyzing needs and assisting in recommendations.
- Alert and challenge the project timeline when necessary.
- Validate the source text in French, ensuring grammatical, orthographic, syntactic, and semantic accuracy.
- Ensure semantic and stylistic coherence across all campaign materials.
- Manage and monitor the translation project, ensuring success within set objectives and deadlines.
- Brief translators, document source texts, and anticipate translation specificities for cultural adaptation.
- Communicate with regional subsidiaries (Asia, Japan, Europe, UK, US) and provide translation management recommendations.
- Oversee the entire translation cycle, offering recommendations to translators, agencies, and validators, and reviewing, challenging, and approving translations.
- Ensure message fidelity and coherence to guarantee translation quality.
- Track and manage translation costs and produce regular reports.
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) in business, communication, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Dynamic, reactive, methodical, and organized.
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of involvement.
- Proficiency in English.
- Sensitivity to the luxury sector.
Previous experience in a similar role within the luxury sector is advantageous.
Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) in business, communication, or a related field.
