Chanel Toxicologist

- Coordinate the collection, analysis, and interpretation of toxicological data for raw materials and ingredients from scientific literature, supplier data, and regulatory databases.
- Evaluate the safety of cosmetic formulations, including systemic toxicity and tolerance, in accordance with international regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
- Consider impurity, trace, or contaminant analyses to assess their toxicological impact on the safety of the finished product.
- Draft clear and well-documented safety evaluation reports for raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with cosmetic regulations.
- Possession of a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Pharmacy, Toxicology, Chemistry, or Biology.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cosmetic product safety evaluation, either in industry or consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, including toxicokinetics, NOAEL, systemic exposure (SED), and margin of safety (MoS).
- Good understanding of European and international regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in scientific databases and software (e.g., PubChem, REACH, IUCLID).
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Analytical mindset, scientific rigor, curiosity, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
At least 2 years of experience in cosmetic product safety evaluation.
Master's degree in Pharmacy, Toxicology, Chemistry, or Biology.
