- Iron high-end textiles, luxury garments, and delicate materials such as silk, cashmere, chiffon, tweed, wool, and organza.
- Hang or fold garments according to 19M standards.
- Perform finishing touches to meet couture requirements, ensuring impeccable drape and volume maintenance, and verifying pleats, lines, and trims.
- Manage production flow in a high-pressure environment, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Count, identify, and sort ironed garments.
- Control lot composition and complete tracking sheets.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain the work station.
- Report any anomalies or technical issues to the Workshop Manager.
- Diagnose stains based on nature, textile support, and age.
- Apply La Sirène protocols for various stain types including greasy, oxidizable, colored, protein, tannin, and color transfers.
- Perform precision stain removal on delicate textiles and sensitive embellishments such as embroidery, sequins, leather, tweed, and chiffon.
- Ensure stain removal before treatment, including preparation and solidity tests.
- Properly use dedicated tools such as suction tables, steam guns, and specialized products.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in ironing/stain removal, high-end pressing, couture workshop, or dyeing.
- Extensive knowledge of fibers and textiles.
- Mastery of professional ironing and stain removal techniques.
- Proven experience in cleaning/ironing sensitive pieces.
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to learn and curiosity about innovative techniques.
- Reliability, autonomy, and a sense of responsibility.
- Team spirit and effective communication.
- Appreciation for high-quality work and exceptional pieces.
A minimum of 5 years in high-end pressing, couture workshops, or dyeing, with a focus on ironing and stain removal of sensitive textiles.
