Chanel Sustainable Design Project Manager

- Lead the sustainable design approach for Chanel Research's cosmetic raw materials throughout their lifecycle.
- Contribute to the development of a sustainable design management and prioritization tool.
- Manage environmental data for all Chanel Research cosmetic raw materials.
- Prioritize and implement improvement action plans.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to gather missing data and oversee action plans.
- Ensure new raw materials meet sustainable design objectives before entering the portfolio.
- Design and manage sustainable design projects for Chanel's strategic plant-based supply chains.
- Conduct active monitoring of sustainable innovation topics and participate in relevant events.
- Implement and monitor Life Cycle Assessment projects for Chanel's supply chain ingredients.
- Manage co-product valorization projects by developing scenarios and new cosmetic ingredients.
- Develop recommendations and lead action plans to reduce the environmental footprint of Chanel's supply chain ingredients.
- Master's degree in Chemistry or Process Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of natural molecules and their extraction processes.
- Sensitivity to sustainable development issues.
- Proficiency in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tools.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Data manipulation proficiency.
Relevant experience in sustainable design or a related field, with a focus on natural molecules and sustainable development.
Master's degree in Chemistry or Process Engineering.
