Chanel Store Planning and Maintenance Project Manager

- Assist country managers in meetings and negotiations to assess technical and budgetary information related to projects.
- Manage relationships with brand partners, including department stores, malls, landlords, and co-boards.
- Prepare preliminary schedules for projects, perform cost estimating and value engineering, and supervise day-to-day management of construction projects with local architects.
- Coordinate with Chanel departments such as Retail, Wholesale, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Real Estate for point-of-sale openings and ongoing operations.
- Collaborate with design and artistic direction teams and external consultants on point-of-sale designs.
- Select, hire, instruct, and negotiate costs with consultants and contractors in coordination with the Financial and Procurement Department.
- Oversee project timelines, including programming, design, development, construction, purchase orders, opening, and maintenance phases.
- Develop and administer project budgets, fiscal controls, contracts, and quality control, ensuring compliance with design specifications and brand requirements.
- Monitor and coordinate work performed by field staff and construction firms, ensuring compliance with regional policies and regulations.
- Develop a maintenance structure for Fragrance & Beauty Store Planning, managing boutique maintenance, renovation, and reinstatement.
- Engage with maintenance managers across countries to foster strong communication and collaboration.
- 5-7 years of experience in architecture, with 5 years in retail.
- Experience in the luxury business or international major fashion companies.
- Analytical and project management skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D visualization tools.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proficiency in general office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Professional proficiency in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
5-7 years of experience in architecture, with a focus on retail and luxury business environments.
Master's degree in Architecture or Construction Engineering.
