Chanel Skin Biology Technician

- Execute in vitro and ex vivo skin biology experiments to support product development, safety assessment and claim substantiation for Parfums Beauté.
- Perform and maintain primary cell culture and skin explant protocols, including sample preparation, treatment application and viability/readout assays.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and consumables, ensuring calibration, routine checks and traceability under GLP-like procedures.
- Collect, analyse and document experimental data; prepare clear technical reports and presentations for R&D and regulatory teams.
- Contribute to method development and optimisation, troubleshoot assays, and propose improvements to increase robustness and throughput.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety rules, internal quality systems and applicable cosmetic regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (formulation, analytical, regulatory) to integrate biological data into product decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree (Licence) or higher in biology, biotechnology, cosmetic science or equivalent technical diploma (BTS/DUT) with substantial laboratory experience.
- Solid practical knowledge of cell biology and skin biology techniques, with demonstrated ability to run reproducible assays.
- Rigorous laboratory practice, strong record-keeping skills and familiarity with quality frameworks (GLP-like environment).
- Autonomous problem-solver with strong organisational skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Good written and oral communication skills for clear reporting of technical results.

Typically 2–4 years of hands-on laboratory experience in cell biology or skin biology, preferably within cosmetics, dermatological or personal care product R&D environments. Experience with ex vivo skin models and assay validation is highly desirable.
Bachelor's degree (Licence) in Biology, Biotechnology, Cosmetic Science or equivalent; technical diplomas (BTS/DUT) with relevant laboratory experience are acceptable.
