Senior Intellectual Property Lawyer

1. Secure projects and launches through prior art searches, risk analysis, and strategy development.
2. Support business teams with strategic analysis and pragmatic advice on intellectual property issues.
3. Act as a liaison with other intellectual property teams, delivering recommendations with diplomacy.
4. Manage and optimize a portfolio of intellectual property rights.
5. Draft and validate agreements related to intellectual property rights.
6. Develop and implement anti-counterfeiting strategies in assigned territories.
7. Coordinate with authorities on anti-counterfeiting measures and provide training.
8. Manage budgets and oversee a network of international lawyers and service providers.
9. Handle litigation, including drafting cease and desist letters and negotiating settlements.
10. Collaborate with the Distribution-Competition team to combat parallel markets.
11. Represent Chanel's interests in associations and conferences.

1. Expertise in intellectual property with 5-7 years of experience in a law firm or corporate setting.
2. Analytical skills and relational qualities for strategic vision and action plans.
3. Sensitivity to business issues and international geopolitical context.
4. Proactivity and adaptability in a disruptive environment.
5. Curiosity about new trends in technology and innovation.
6. Strong team spirit and ability to contribute to team cohesion.

1. Bilingual proficiency in English, ideally with a third language.
2. Analytical and strategic thinking.
3. Diplomacy and agility in a matrix and international environment.
4. Ability to anticipate legal reactions and propose creative solutions.

5-7 years of experience in intellectual property law, gained in a law firm and/or corporate environment.
