Chanel Security and OHS Manager

- Ensure full compliance with local Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) laws, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria, and local security regulations across all sites.
- Organize and oversee mandatory OHS training, including first aid, fire safety, evacuation drills, and yearly assessments.
- Implement Chanel Europe Security and OHS policies and procedures across all sites and integrate technical security guidelines into new site projects.
- Maintain and regularly update local procedures to align with corporate standards.
- Plan preventive maintenance and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Monitor the performance of Security and OHS suppliers, focusing on the guarding company.
- Deliver training sessions for staff and security guards to maintain a high level of awareness and preparedness.
- Track and report monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to local Management and Europe Security and OHS Manager.
- Collaborate with local Management, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders, including police and security consultants.
- Act as the key point of contact for visits from the Internal Audit Department, Europe Security Manager, and external inspections.
- Provide on-site support for major events and new site openings.
- Develop and monitor the Security and OHS budget in collaboration with the local Finance team to ensure resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities.
- Conduct regular site assessments, investigate breaches or incidents, and implement swift corrective actions.
- Lead emergency responses and crisis management for incidents.
- Implement Business Continuity Planning (BCP) policy and coordinate regular exercises.
- Degree or professional certification in security, health and safety, or related areas.
- 10+ years of experience in security management, law enforcement, or the armed forces.
- Training or experience in emergency response, crisis management, and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
- In-depth knowledge of security technologies and related equipment.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and industry standards in BeNeLux and Scandinavia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Strong sense of service, responsibility, and real ability to listen, communicate, and adapt.
- Experience in the luxury and/or retail sector is advantageous.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in security management, law enforcement, or the armed forces, with a focus on emergency response and crisis management.
Degree or professional certification in security, health and safety, or related areas.
