Chanel Sales Area Manager

- Ensure net sales and wholesale targets are met and aligned with expectations.
- Verify client orders, manage sales rotation, and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Develop and present alternative sales strategies to achieve sales goals amidst unexpected trends.
- Negotiate commercial conditions with clients, including margins, rebates, and returns.
- Secure prime space and allocation for the brand in retail environments.
- Review and approve all Advertising, Promotions, and Demonstration (APD) expenses.
- Obtain pre-pack orders for new products and campaigns from distributors and large retailers.
- Monitor sell-out performance and approve or close points of sale to maintain brand image.
- Manage P&L responsibilities, ensuring profitability by client and alignment with brand strategy.
- Forecast sales and APD, and allocate PLV materials within budgetary constraints.
- Implement the Marketing Plan in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Coordinate media and production schedules, and develop sales promotional plans.
- Monitor and support Make-Up Artist visits, training, and promotional events.
- Manage and motivate a back-office and field team, including recruitment and evaluation of personnel.
- Supervise order processing and shipping to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare trip reports, follow-up reports, and POS project documentation.
- 5+ years of management experience in developing markets and client negotiation at a regional level, preferably in the luxury or beauty industry.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and commercial strategy development.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Collaborative and relationship-focused with strong influencing skills.
- Ability to develop and empower team members through effective coaching and feedback.
- Problem-solving and dispute resolution capabilities.
- Technologically savvy with awareness of digital trends.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
5+ years in management roles within the luxury or beauty industry, focusing on regional market development and client negotiation.
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
