Chanel Sales Area Manager

- Ensure net sales and wholesales align with budgetary goals.
- Verify client orders, sales rotation, and stock levels.
- Negotiate commercial conditions with clients, including margins and rebates.
- Oversee allocation and negotiation of prime space for the brand.
- Review and approve all Advertising, Promotions, and Demonstration (APD) expenses.
- Obtain pre-pack orders on new products and campaigns from distributors and large retailers.
- Monitor sell-out to ensure budget accomplishment.
- Approve or close points of sales to meet image requirements.
- Manage P&L responsibilities, ensuring profitability by client.
- Accountable for customer contribution targets in the designated area.
- Implement the Marketing Plan in collaboration with respective departments.
- Coordinate media and production schedules.
- Build and implement sales promotional plans with retailers and distributors.
- Monitor Make-Up Artist visits and other promotional events.
- Provide training assistance as necessary.
- Manage and motivate back-office and field teams, including recruitment and evaluation.
- Supervise Sales Executives to ensure timely order processing and shipping.
- Responsible for recruiting and hiring Brand Managers and local sales personnel.
- Prepare trip reports, follow-up reports, and POS project documentation.
- 2+ years of experience in management, developing markets, and negotiating at a regional level, preferably in the luxury or beauty industry.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; French is advantageous.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Administration, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and commercial strategy definition.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Collaborative and influential relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop and empower team members.
- Problem-solving and dispute resolution skills.
- Technologically savvy with awareness of digital trends.
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite.
A minimum of 2 years in management roles within the luxury or beauty industry, with a focus on market development and client negotiations at a regional level.
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Administration, Marketing, Sales, or Finance.
