Chanel Raw Materials Toxicologist

The Innovation Research and Development (IRD) department of Chanel Parfums Beauté, comprising over 250 scientists across five international research centers, is at the forefront of creating the next generation of Chanel products.
- Establish toxicological profiles for raw materials.
- Identify potential hazards such as irritation, sensitization, systemic toxicity, and genotoxicity.
- Analyze and supplement toxicological data from suppliers, literature, in silico, and in vitro sources.
- Determine safety thresholds and draft toxicological evaluation reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Finished Product Safety, Innovation, Regulatory, and Purchasing.
- Represent Chanel in technical groups and enhance expertise.
- Master's or Doctorate in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or equivalent with a specialization in human toxicology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical substance safety evaluation in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or chemicals.
- Proficiency in international regulations and alternative methods.

A minimum of 5 years in safety evaluation of chemical substances within the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries.
Master's or Doctorate in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or equivalent with specialization in human toxicology.
