- Lead the conceptualization and design development of retail spaces and product packaging, ensuring alignment with Chanel's aesthetic.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to develop innovative design solutions.
- Ensure brand consistency across designs while adapting concepts for different markets.
- Oversee the creation of sketches, renderings, and prototypes, translating design vision into physical spaces and products.
- Maintain effective communication with regional architects to adapt designs to local preferences and regulations.
- Collaborate with regional teams to set project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
- Modify design drawings to comply with local building codes and safety standards.
- Manage a diverse range of projects, including boutiques and Travel Retail stores.
- Review construction drawings for accuracy and alignment with technical specifications.
- Evaluate millwork, animation, and trade podium designs for production feasibility.
- Lead the creation of tender documents and manage the bid evaluation process.
- Cultivate relationships with vendors and suppliers to source premium materials.
- Collaborate with external consultants to ensure alignment with design and technical requirements.
- Integrate sustainability into store designs and coordinate the LEED certification process.
- Degree in architecture from an accredited university.
- Certifications in project management or specialized architectural fields are a plus.
- Proven experience with high-end, luxury projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Expertise in 3D modeling and rendering using SketchUp and ArchiCAD.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to create visuals and mood boards.
- Challenge-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
- Fluency in English.
Proven experience in leading complex design and construction projects within luxury retail environments.
Degree in architecture from an accredited university.
