- Assist Product Merchandising Managers in overseeing activities across European boutiques, ensuring regular reporting on key performance indicators such as sales, stock levels, sell-through rates, and months of stock coverage for Ready-to-Wear and Footwear categories.
- Develop new performance tracking tools to enhance impact and efficiency.
- Define action plans to optimize results, including stock transfers, stock optimization, and diversions.
- Participate in the preparation and follow-up of collection purchases for European boutiques during Showrooms, aiding in assortment definition to meet strategic European objectives.
- Gather qualitative feedback from markets and boutiques to understand the outcomes of quantitative analyses.
- Contribute to the development of presentations for various audiences, including boutiques, European management, and general management.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses based on business priorities and current activities.
- Proficiency in English for communication with market stakeholders.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for performance analysis and presentations.
- Demonstrated rigor, autonomy, and proactivity.
- Genuine sensitivity to products and collections.
- Aptitude for numbers and analysis.
- Resourcefulness and curiosity in problem-solving.
- Familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
- Analytical skills for evaluating key performance indicators and deriving actionable insights.
- Ability to work autonomously with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills to engage with international teams and gather market feedback.
- Problem-solving skills to develop new tools and optimize analyses.
Previous experience in a similar analytical or merchandising role within the fashion or luxury sector is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
The intern will develop analytical skills and critical thinking, gain product sensitivity, and acquire a comprehensive understanding of Chanel's fashion collections and retail business.
