Chanel Product Manager - Woven Fabrics

- Define product specifications, codification, and nomenclatures while collecting pricing information.
- Ensure the availability of materials and trimmings in collaboration with internal teams to support collection launches.
- Oversee product codification and ensure accurate product labeling.
- Maintain and update nomenclatures throughout the collection development process.
- Consolidate information in the PLM system to track product development.
- Anticipate quality issues for industrialization and contribute to their resolution.
- Manage the launch and development of external manufacturers.
- Monitor prototype progress in workshops according to studio requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation of tech packs and necessary documents for sample launches.
- Inspect prototypes to ensure alignment with the Studio's brief regarding construction, fit, and finishes.
- Support manufacturers in adjusting prototypes to meet designer briefs and Maison standards before studio validation.
- Uphold Chanel's quality and compliance standards.
- Gather information from fabric to sketch and ensure reference updates.
- Participate in detail review meetings to consolidate nomenclatures with the studio, workshops, and design offices.
- Manage development costs in coordination with the studio.
- Prepare purchasing sessions in systems and showrooms based on looks.
- Track development costs and provide regular reporting to the development manager.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in premium or luxury brands with strong technical expertise in product management.
- Creative and innovative mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and strategic thinking.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
- Ability to inspire and unite diverse profiles.
- Strong product sensitivity and a genuine passion for fashion, particularly Ready-to-Wear.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and anticipation abilities.
- Proficiency in IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint), PLM software, and Orli.
- Fluent in English and French; Italian is a plus.
