- Develop materials and trimmings with dedicated partners, ensuring adherence to timelines, cost, quality, and style as defined by the studio.
- Anticipate production timeline risks and implement necessary measures such as thread reservations and pre-orders.
- Ensure supplier components meet expected quality grades and regulatory standards.
- Negotiate pricing and validate purchasing conditions for supplier components.
- Lead the responsible transformation of supplier components in collaboration with project managers, ensuring compliance with timelines, cost, and quality.
- 5 years of experience in textile material and component development.
- Proficiency in textile techniques such as spinning, knitting, finishing, and manufacturing.
- Knowledge of metal component techniques including electroplating and setting.
- Fluency in English and French; Italian is a plus.
- Strong organizational and anticipatory skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and adaptability skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PLM, and ORLIWEB systems.
- Familiarity with responsible textile certifications such as GOTS, RWS, ROC, and GRS.
A minimum of 5 years in textile material and component development is required.
