Chanel Pricing Assistant

- Assist the Product Valuation & Pricing Leather Goods team in the pricing process for components such as leather, fabrics, and metal parts.
- Maintain direct and ongoing communication with the entire panel of leather goods component suppliers.
- Conduct inventory of new collection components for potential negotiations.
- Enter recurring prices into the PLM tool and verify the accuracy of new component pricing by partners.
- Monitor and analyze price trends and the positioning of materials in relation to fluctuations in precious metal and raw material markets.
- Study costs and margins associated with components.
- Participate in negotiations as required by the collection needs.
- Contribute to projects aimed at introducing new components or improving existing ones.
- Analyze new components (leathers and metal parts) developed for each collection.
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree (Master 1 or Master 2) from a business or engineering school, preferably with a focus on Purchasing or Management Control.
- Previous experience in Purchasing or Management Control is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Strong command of computer tools, particularly Excel, with a desire to enhance skills.
- Demonstrated aptitude for numbers and a keen interest in fashion/luxury products.
- Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for seamless integration into a team environment.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in purchasing or management control, showcasing a strong foundation in these areas.
Master's degree in progress from a business or engineering school, preferably with a specialization in Purchasing or Management Control.
