Chanel Press Showroom Operations Manager

- Manage the Press and Celebrity Shopping activities, optimizing the flow of approximately 150,000 pieces annually.
- Supervise a team of five to ensure efficient planning and dispatch of prototypes.
- Ensure accurate billing to various Chanel entities and validate through Basware.
- Optimize processes specific to celebrity engagements.
- Serve as the primary contact for transportation issues related to prototypes.
- Monitor transport partners and validate transport quotes for special press and celebrity requests.
- Coordinate necessary customs documentation for collection dispatches.
- Implement and monitor UK process adherence (Temporary Admissions) and test new transport partners.
- Ensure data completeness and reliability in Launchmetrics (FGPS) and operational efficiency tools.
- Coordinate and update collection data, including master lists and customs documentation.
- Oversee temporary showroom projects during major events such as the Cannes Film Festival and Haute Couture shows.
- Coordinate back-office operations and logistics for celebrity suites at major events.
- Manage hospitality logistics for the SR team, including travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Produce weekly reports on dispatches and returns, ensuring timely product availability.
- Coordinate automated reporting for global showrooms and communicate findings to partners.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication, Press, or Business School.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in press-related roles within the fashion and luxury sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Expertise in Launchmetrics (FGPS).
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
A minimum of 5 years in press-related functions within the fashion and luxury industry, with showroom experience highly preferred.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication, Press, or Business School.
