- Draft project specifications in response to creative briefs.
- Brief suppliers according to the strategic direction of the activity.
- Negotiate pricing with material and packaging suppliers.
- Develop innovative technical solutions.
- Define timelines and coordinate developments to meet launch or transformation targets.
- Approve and validate packaging compliance with aesthetic and quality standards through BAT validation, testing, and quality panoplies definition.
- Compile technical and traceability dossiers.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and operations for the implementation of new products.
- Manage cross-functional projects with internal and external stakeholders on Responsible Transformation topics.
- Oversee supplier portfolio management, including recurring and new sourcing.
- Analyze and negotiate packaging costs for both permanent and new products.
- Conduct reporting and KPI analysis.
- Monitor incurred costs (prototypes, tests, etc.).
- Collaborate with the IT team and participate in the deployment of new IT tools (Anaplan, PLM) as a key user.
- Frequent travel to suppliers in France and Europe is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in new product development.
- Strong project management skills.
- Technical knowledge of materials and processes (paper, cardboard, textile, metal, decoration, etc.).
- Proficiency in quality issue management.
- Advanced proficiency in office tools and a keen interest in IT projects.
- Ability to demonstrate rigor, reactivity, and autonomy.
- Excellent prioritization and scheduling skills, with problem-solving capabilities.
- Team spirit and strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
A minimum of 3 years in new product development is required.
Degree from an Engineering or Business School.
