Chanel Operations Manager

The International Logistics Center for Perfumes and Beauty, located in Le Meux, is dedicated to serving clients worldwide, boasting over 30,000 square meters of space and dispatching more than 13,000 parcels daily with the aid of advanced information systems and automated equipment.
- Oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring seamless flow of logistics activities such as receiving, preparation, and shipping, while achieving set objectives.
- Implement human resources and information system optimization policies to enhance performance and control costs.
- Analyze key performance indicators, identify improvement levers, and deploy action plans.
- Manage team versatility and skill development to meet workload demands and agility challenges.
- Coordinate continuous improvement projects to optimize processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, security, and environmental standards in collaboration with other center services.
- Collaborate with other center expertise areas (quality, maintenance, safety, IT, HR) to ensure shared vision and smooth execution of cross-functional projects.
- Initiate and maintain relationships with counterparts at local distribution centers.
- Actively participate in the development and deployment of site strategy, contributing logistics expertise and operational insight.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and communication among teams and departments, promoting a collective approach to logistics challenges.
- Lead and develop operations teams (approximately 100 employees), ensuring their engagement and skill advancement.
- Manage managerial cycles: annual reviews, training plans, mobility management, and salary policy.
- Create a motivating and collaborative work environment, valuing autonomy, initiative, and team involvement.
- Promote Chanel's core values and behaviors, including agility, innovation, leadership, and customer orientation.
- Master's degree in logistics or equivalent (engineering school or specialized training).
- Significant experience of approximately 10 years in operations management and multidisciplinary team leadership in an industrial environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse expertise for cross-functional project management.
- Strategic leadership skills, capable of uniting teams and stakeholders around ambitious projects aligned with a shared vision.
- Demonstrated agility and initiative in providing innovative solutions.
- Expertise in industrial/logistics processes, performance management, and continuous improvement project management.
- Strong safety and quality culture.
- Proficiency in English and computer and analytical tools.
Approximately 10 years of significant experience in operations management and multidisciplinary team leadership in an industrial environment.
Master's degree in logistics or equivalent (engineering school or specialized training).
