- Ensure the codification of materials from development through to production.
- Gather technical information from suppliers and update Material Sheets and PLM systems.
- Accurately input material pricing on Material Sheets and PLM systems.
- Manage visual representations of materials within company tools.
- Oversee material purchases for collections, adhering to Studio guidelines.
- Coordinate with collection stakeholders to manage orders and delivery tracking.
- Ensure delivered materials meet Studio specifications regarding appearance, texture, and color.
- Alert industrialization and quality teams, as well as suppliers, of any non-conformities to implement corrective measures.
- Create and update material cards for internal and external presentations.
- Organize and update material archives within the desired timeframe.
- Monitor budget adherence and conduct regular reporting and analysis.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role as a material buyer.
- Strong organizational and anticipatory skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Adaptability and responsiveness to evolving situations.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Familiarity with information systems such as ORLI and PLM.
- Fluency in English and French; Italian is advantageous.
2-3 years of experience in a similar role as a material buyer.
