Chanel Manufacturing Projects Engineer — Skincare (Fixed‑Term Contract)

- Lead end‑to‑end industrialisation and production transfer projects for skincare products within the Parfums Beauté portfolio, from pilot trials to full commercial manufacture.
- Define and manage project plans, budgets, timelines and milestones; ensure on‑time delivery against agreed objectives.
- Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Packaging, Procurement and external suppliers to secure technical readiness.
- Specify, oversee and validate manufacturing processes, equipment commissioning, trials, process validation and qualification activities in accordance with GMP.
- Perform technical troubleshooting during scale‑up, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives to stabilise processes and reduce costs.
- Prepare and control technical documentation: manufacturing dossiers, batch records, change controls, FMEAs and CAPA reports.
- Assess and qualify suppliers and contract manufacturers; represent the brand during factory audits and technical reviews.
- Degree in Chemical, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical or Process Engineering (or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of cosmetic formulation, packaging interactions and industrial manufacturing constraints.
- Practical knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements applicable to cosmetic products.
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑disciplinary projects and to deliver against strict timelines.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving aptitude, with experience in process validation and technical transfer.

Typically 3–6 years of engineering experience in cosmetics or pharmaceutical manufacturing, with demonstrable involvement in industrialisation, production transfers and supplier management — experience specifically with skincare products and packaging formats is strongly preferred.
Engineering degree or equivalent qualification in Chemical, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical or Process Engineering.
