Chanel Legal Intern

- Support the legal team with drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, NDAs and procurement contracts under supervision.
- Conduct substantive legal research on Swiss and international commercial, corporate and intellectual property law; prepare memoranda and summaries for counsel.
- Assist with trademark and design rights clearance, prosecution docketing and coordination with external IP counsel.
- Provide litigation and dispute-support: compile evidence, prepare chronology and assist with filings and case file management.
- Contribute to compliance, data protection and export-control matters, including preparation of internal notes and policy snapshots.
- Prepare presentations, board packs and meeting minutes; liaise with internal stakeholders (business, procurement, retail) and external advisers.
- Maintain and organise legal files, precedents and databases to ensure efficient document retrieval and version control.
- Enrollment in an accredited law degree programme (Master/LLM or equivalent) with a strong academic record.
- Demonstrable interest in commercial and intellectual property law, preferably with coursework or projects in these areas.
- Excellent drafting ability, analytical reasoning and attention to detail.
- High level of discretion and professional integrity when handling confidential matters.
- Strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Previous internship or paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department is advantageous but not mandatory; demonstrable coursework or project work in commercial or IP law will be favourably considered.
Currently enrolled in a recognised law programme (Master/LLM or equivalent).
