- Oversee the creation of prototypes and duplicates, ensuring technical feasibility.
- Demonstrate creativity in product design proposals.
- Compile comprehensive product definition dossiers.
- Lead the production of samples, maintaining close collaboration with collection management, development, and manufacturing teams.
- Design new leather goods and small leather goods from project briefs to prototype presentation.
- Transform sketches and inspiration boards into three-dimensional products.
- Propose technical alternatives to address quality, construction, and cost challenges.
- Incorporate product component development requirements, such as timelines, component compatibility, quality, functionality, and technical risks, to propose optimal solutions.
- Research and develop technical proposals to meet aesthetic challenges.
- Suggest improvements in assembly techniques, functionality, and material usage optimization.
- Ensure the repeatability of proposals in manufacturing.
- Guarantee the accuracy of technical data for studied models and sample production.
- Gather and input technical data for product definition, including ERP entries, material and accessory color matching, CAD surface definitions, and PLM development tracking.
- Coordinate resources for sample production and manage corresponding schedules.
- Minimum educational background of Bac +2/3 in Fashion and Leather Goods or Model Maker Designer.
- Significant experience in product development, ranging from 5 to 7 years.
- Mastery of all stages of luxury leather goods or garment manufacturing.
- Ability to understand and translate sketches into tangible products.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and technical data management.
- Strong cooperative and teamwork spirit.
- Creativity and innovation in design.
