Junior Financial Controller

Chanel is a leading luxury fashion brand dedicated to the distribution of fashion collections, watch and jewelry creations, and perfume and beauty products. The company is renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation in the fashion industry.

1. Monitor weekly business performance and analyze KPIs for boutiques in France and Monaco.
2. Support operational teams in developing the COUPA ordering tool.
3. Update monthly reports on headquarters structural costs, promotional expenses, and boutique expenses.
4. Track and challenge operational teams on budget progress.
5. Optimize and automate boutique expense reporting.
6. Design reporting for Chanel & moi expense tracking.
7. Assist the Marketing team in financial tracking of major events.
8. Participate in monthly closing activities, including vendor commission control and tax calculations.
9. Contribute to budget and financial forecast construction and monitoring.
10. Prepare monthly performance presentations for the French executive committee.
11. Participate in annual boutique inventories and become a reference for inventory processes.
12. Update documentation related to quarterly, annual, and budgetary closure processes.
13. Propose improvements for reporting development and automation.
14. Contribute to cross-functional finance projects such as digitalization and new information system deployment.

1. Higher education degree Bac + 5 from a business school or equivalent.
2. First experience in management control, audit, or business analysis in commercial or retail functions.

1. Proficiency in office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
2. Strong interest in information systems.
3. Knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and Power Query is an advantage.
4. Dynamic, autonomous, and strong interpersonal skills.
5. Comfortable with numerical data.
6. Strong analytical and synthesis skills.

First experience in management control, audit, or business analysis in commercial or retail functions.

Higher education degree Bac + 5 from a business school or equivalent.

12-month fixed-term contract starting from March 2025.
