Chanel IT Manager - Digital and eCommerce

- Lead and manage digital initiatives, including Chanel.com, eCommerce, and social commerce for Chanel Korea.
- Partner with business stakeholders to plan, implement, and support digital transformation and innovation projects.
- Seek out and integrate new business models, focusing on social and e-commerce to enhance client experiences.
- Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to ensure alignment and execution of digital strategies.
- Manage demands, budgets, resources, and timelines, aligning business priorities with technical feasibilities.
- Drive continuous evolution of Chanel.com, providing local insights and managing global digital projects.
- Coordinate change management for omni-channel experiences, ensuring alignment between IT systems and business processes.
- Liaise with global and regional teams to drive implementation and manage day-to-day operations of Chanel.com.
- Make recommendations for service improvement plans and manage market innovation budgets.
- Attract, retain, and develop talent to build a high-performing team.
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- MBA or MA preferred.
- PMP or Prince 2 certification preferred.
- Agile Scrum Master/Design Thinking expertise.
- Experience in end-to-end operation of e-commerce with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Ability to challenge the status quo with a constructive approach.
- Innovative problem-solving and design skills.
- Proven multi-tasking abilities and a positive attitude towards problem resolution.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Proven success working with regional and global teams.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to achieve results through networking.
- Fluency in Korean and English.
At least 10 years of hands-on experience in retail systems with successful implementation references, preferably in an international context.
Undergraduate degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
