- Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect goods and services to align with organizational objectives and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Lead strategic sourcing projects and collaborate with internal business partners to optimize procurement processes.
- Conduct financial analysis and negotiate acquisition costs to reduce Total Cost of Ownership.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction through data analysis, consolidation, and process improvements.
- Assess supplier capabilities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure supplier performance meets established KPIs.
- Mitigate risks associated with procurement activities and develop contingency plans for business continuity.
- Ensure compliance with procurement laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Oversee contract management for indirect goods and services, ensuring legal compliance and resolving issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to implement procurement policies and processes.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and risks.
- Minimum of 7 years of strategic indirect procurement experience.
- 3-5 years of experience with procurement tools such as Coupa at an advanced level.
- CIPS qualification or equivalent.
- Expertise in procurement policy, procedures, and processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a dynamic environment.
- Business acumen and sensitivity to external business and economic changes.
A minimum of 7 years of strategic indirect procurement experience, including advanced use of procurement tools and a proven track record in building effective relationships with stakeholders.
CIPS qualification or equivalent.
Competitive base salary of CAD 140,000-150,000 annually.
